One Free Year, One Permanently Free Route, One Printed Price

We should be upfront about the shape of this. OK Registered Agent.org is a paid Oklahoma registered agent service, one of the three routes described below is ours, and we are recommending it. What Inc Authority charges after the first year is something we cannot tell you, because it is not printed where a shopper can read it.

Year One Really Does Cost Nothing

Their formation bundles hand you the agent seat for a full twelve months with no separate charge attached. The offer is exactly what it appears to be, it lands when a new company has the least money to spare, and calling it a trick would be dishonest. So we will not call it one.

Oklahoma permits a limited liability company to serve as its own registered agent. Not a workaround, not an edge case; the Secretary of State's organizing procedures list the company itself alongside an Oklahoma resident and a qualified business entity as acceptable choices. Appoint yourself and the annual cost is zero, permanently, with no renewal conversation ever.

The state charges for it in obligations instead of dollars:

• The registered office must be a street address in Oklahoma. A PO box is rejected.
• The business office has to be that same address, kept open through regular business hours so service of process can be handed to somebody.
• That address enters the public record, legible to anybody who pulls up your company in the state's business search.

Which produces a clean way to sort the three offers. Inc Authority's free is a twelve-month promotion with an unquoted price behind it. Oklahoma's free is permanent and asks you to staff a published address every working day. Ours is $99, forever, and asks nothing after you enroll.
